During its presentation event Apple announced the iPhone 13 Pro as two highly advanced and unique models on the market when it comes to professional video recording.
The company has always had a clear advantage over its competitors when it comes to video recording, and the iPhone 13 Pro makes that difference clear again with the ability to record and edit with ProRes Video or Dolby Vision.
ProRes Video is the ace up its sleeve that confirms that audiovisual content creators or independent filmmakers can work on all their projects with just an iPhone 13 Pro, allowing you to record video with high color fidelity and low compression to be able to deliver professional videos.
Apple also mentioned that ProRes can be used to record content in 4K at 30 fps, at least if you have an iPhone 13 Pro or Pro Max of more than 128 GB.
The 128GB iPhone 13 Pro models are not capable of 4K ProRes Video recording, so they will only be able to capture 1080p video at 30fps.
The above is totally related to the weight that video files also have in ProRes, because as mentioned, it is a professional video format of the highest quality.
On the other hand, the cinema mode also works only with 1080p video at 30 fps regardless of the iPhone 13 you have and its storage capacity, as this function is available in all 4 models.
If you are a content creator and you are interested in buying the iPhone 13 Pro by ProRes Video, the prices of the compatible models are as follows:
