Grand Theft Auto is one of the most popular video game sagas within the video game industry, and it is not for less, since it has presented us with an immensity of deliveries that have remained in the hearts of many of the players throughout from all over the world, its open world mechanics have been one of the most immersive seen in many titles.
Something that seems quite curious to us is that many of the open world experiences have been inspired by what Grand Theft Auto III presented us, the third numbered installment of the emblematic and iconic Rockstar saga that marked a before and after in the industry of the video game.

This is not by chance, since Grand Theft Auto III was a revolution based on the great change that took place in the saga compared to previous installments, which had nothing to do with what was seen in recent times. In fact, speaking of inspiration, The Simpsons: Hit & Run was also inspired by this game, this being a game of which there are already fans who are considering a remake.
Making use of the more than famous Unreal Engine 5 engine, the YouTube account called TeaserPlay has uploaded a video showing what GTA III would be like if they had made a remake of it with this tool, thus allowing us to see a world that, in a certain sense, it gets to look better than even GTA V. Of course, it should be noted that it is nothing official.
Having said all this, although the apparent remake of GTA III looks very good, do not forget that in the end these video games are usually more of a facade than anything else, since when it comes to the truth they do not finish taking off as such. In the same way, it cannot be forgotten that with GTA VI already in development, Rockstar’s result with this title may be even better than seen.
