In 1988 Neil Gaiman introduced us to Morpheus, the King of Dreams, as well as his dream mythology in The Sandman, a story that three decades later lands in a series, of which we already have the official teaser.

DC Comics and the world’s largest platform present us the first teaser for The Sandman. Television adaptation of the story that Neil Gaiman presented between 1988 and 1996 through 75 issues divided into 10 issues.
The first season of the series will tell throughout 11 episodes the story of Morpheus, the King of Dreams, who is kidnapped 105 years by the Burgess magicians.

The Sandman features a cast consisting of Tom Sturridge as Dream, Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer, Boyd Holbrook as the Corinthian, Vivienne Acheampong as Lucienne, Charles Dance as Roderick Burgess, Asim Chaudhry as Abel, Sanjeev Bhaskar as Cain.
Allan Heinberg will be the scriptwriter for the series, where Neil Gaiman will serve as producer, alongside David S. Goyer, who has participated in projects such as Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight film trilogy.
The Sandman will be released in the course of 2022 through the most famous platform of digital entertainment.
