The Formula 1 and MotoGP Grand Prix come together on a Sunday marked for lovers of the motor world. Max Verstappen, who is already the leader of the World Cup, will start from the pole after finishing the sprint race as second and benefit from the sanction to Bottas, while Francesco Bagnaia’s Ducatti will start from the front row at the Aragon circuit in MotoGP.
In Formula 1 code, the Dutchman took advantage of a poor start by Lewis Hamilton to get three positions ahead of him at the start of the race: finished second in the sprint, but the penalty for the engine unit to Bottas has opened the doors to first place. The Red Bull driver wants to take advantage of the fact that the two McLaren occupy the second and third position to put land in between from the start.
Carlos Sainz will start sixth and Fernando Alonso will start from tenth place after beating Sebastian Vettel and fighting Sergio Pérez and Stroll for eighth place.. Giovinazzi kept the type for the 18 laps of the test and will start seventh.
Quartararo and Márquez, for the Ducatti
The French and the Spanish showed good rhythm during all free practice sessions, but were outmatched by the two Ducatti in the race classification.. The Italian, Francesco Bagnaia, set a time of 1: 46: 322 and surpassed his teammate Jack Miller (+0.366), Quartararo (+0.397) and Marc Márquez (+0.414).
The current leader of the World Cup, Fabio Quartararo, will start from the second row after showing some difficulties in the last sector of the track, not so Marc Márquez, who has been comfortable on the bike all weekend and is ready to fight for victory.
