The latest spy photos of the new Audi Q6 e-tron 2023 reveal new details of the new next-generation electric SUV that the brand with the four rings is preparing. The first one conceived in the PPE platform of Electrics Premium, and of which we return to advance its design with a more realistic proposal, and interesting details unknown until now.
Audi is immersed in the partial renovation of its combustion models, but also electric ones. The firm with the four rings has already set a date to abandon traditional gasoline-fueled models, targeting 2026 as the maximum. A strategy that does not prevent previous launches, such as the new Q6 e-tron that will be introduced in the second half of 2022 and on the roads in early 2023.
This electric SUV is in a very advanced stage of development, as you have seen in the latest spy photos, with prototypes revealing new details. These have been moved to this new recreation, in which we anticipate its most real production design. The German firm maintains the torn headlights, but it radically changes the design of the grill. The usual Singleframe style with a certain octagon shape remains, although the internal panel leaves out the scheme used in the e-tron and e-tron Sportback.
The Audi Q6 e-tron 2023, a sports SUV with 700 km of autonomy
One more bet in the line of the e-tron GT, deriving the ventilation of the electric motors and power electronics to some large shots on the sides of the bumper and a thinner grille on the bottom. Qualified as the electric variant of the next Audi Q5, the new Q6 e-tron is much more than this more familiar SUV, as sportiness will be one of its qualities, standing out for a very wide stance with the wheels flush with a widened front axle.
What will be the fifth electric SUV in the Audi range will offer the measures and proportions equivalent to a Q5, but with an interior that will highlight a large space, almost at the level of a Q7 and even more. And it is that it will not have the intrusive central tunnel that annoys and interrupts the space. This will be one of the great qualities of the future Q6 e-tron, along with a select range of versions, with one and two electric motorsThe latter being the first to hit the market, with quattro all-wheel drive.
Our internal sources have pointed out that the 500 hp orbit will be reserved for a very sporty version, which will not exceed this figure so as not to harm the future Macan Eléctrico. But one of the most interesting data that we have been entrusted with about the new Q6 e-tron is that of autonomy. The German firm will offer the model to customers with a battery with two capacity levels – net of 83 and 100 kWh– so the future model will reach the 700 kilometers. A record number to win over customers, which will be completed with the load of 800 V and up to 350 W, so the time will be reduced to just over 20 minutes ..
