The Call of Duty: Warzone gaming community knows that the popular video game has a wide variety in its arsenal, and testing a loadout in Warzone can be a daunting task, having to rely on regularly meeting people, finding enemies and hopefully take part in some firefights before being sent to the Gulag.
Something we find quite curious is that for most players, trying out new weapons or builds is resigned to modes like Plunder or Respawn, where you can easily respawn with a different loadout.
That said, it can still be tedious, but at this point in the game’s life cycle, many players have given up hope that an in-title shooting range will arrive, similar to Apex Legends or Fortnite’s Creative mode. Players may not have to wait much longer though, as Warzone 2 may get one when it arrives in 2022/23, around the same time as Modern Warfare II.
Popular leaker TheGhostofHope posted a tweet on April 28 saying that “Modern Warfare II will have a shooting range,” which was obviously great news for multiplayer fans. He then followed up on that tweet, saying he assumes Warzone 2 will also get the shooting range, answering players’ prayers for years.
It’s worth noting that since this is a leak, it should be taken with a grain of salt, especially since Ghost is only “assuming” that the shooting range will also be in Warzone 2. Not many details about Warzone 2 are available, but we know which is being built from the ground up, completely separate from the current iteration of Call of Duty’s battle royale hit.
