Among the dozens of multimedia players on the market, VLC Media Player is one of the best known and has been on my favorites list for a long time, being available for almost all platforms (Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS) and being able to play audio and video content stored on local drives and memories, as well as on optical media or even on computers connected to the home network.
It is an open source player that offers great ease of use, since no need to install external codec packs and it is compatible with a large number of formats, also offering a constant update rate so that you are always up to date.
And just a few days ago they just updated the version for Android platforms, reaching version 3.4.0 and being available both for phones and tablets with this operating system in versions 2.2 or later, as well as for smart TV platforms with Android TV where we need a multimedia player with capacity for MKV, MP4, AVI, MOV, Ogg, FLAC, TS, M2TS and AAC files.
This new version continues to be based on the libVLC 3 library and according to the technical notes they have modernized the music player adding among other things the possibility of creating marks in each file to find our favorite content more precisely.
Improved playback fluency general software, including more sorting options of the songs by artists, improved the reproduction after leaving the equipment in pause, fixed some problems of stability and in general equipped to the reproduction of a faster response speed.
