Venom: Let There Be Carnage it’s right around the corner, and of course we’re all eager to find out what’s next for this symbiote’s story. As its title confirms, Carnage will finally have a live-action version in charge of Woody harrelson, but another character that fans are dying to see share a screen with these two, is Spider-Man, evidently. So when will this crossover happen? According Tom Hardy, it’s a matter of time.
In a new conversation with ComicBook, Hardy hinted that eventually Venom and Spider-Man yes they will be in the live-action. In particular, Hardy referenced a fan-created image he shared in April 2020, which you can check out below.
The image in question generated a lot of noise, so Hardy decided to delete it days later. However, his desire to see Venom fight against Spidey has not changed:
“They are like Spidey’s little legs hanging out of Venom’s mouth. That is something I would love to see. Or what do you think it is? It is a very specific image. I would love for Venom to eat Spider-Man, but only Spider-Man, I love Tom Holland.
I think it’s impossible not to tell a Venom story without considering Spider-Man. It is somewhere in this universe. But we all know that there are many things happening at the same time, and everything has to be always in constant motion. But that idea is always something that has been there, you know? When exactly can I eat Spider-Man? “
Of course we all want to see Venom and Spider-Man fight at some point, and well, it seems that this concept could develop much sooner than thought. We say this because recently, a deleted photo of Hardy showed him wearing a cap that only members of the production of Spider-Man: No Way Home, suggesting that the actor could possibly be in the movie.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage hits theaters next October 1st.
