The League of Legends community of players often sees developer Riot Games making some adjustments to the popular MOBA video game, to the extent that today we will see how Vayne receives a great visual update of season 12.
Something that has caught our attention is the fact that, Vayne, was released in 2011 and quickly carved a place for herself as a deadly AD Carry that delivered the fantasy of a monster hunter in League. It has since received minimal visual care from Riot outside of an update in 2015.
Now the company is looking to “modernize” Night Hunter’s outfits and animations in an upcoming VFX update for the champion. Riot’s Sirhaian posted on the League’s subreddit page clarifying his goals for the update.
“This particular VFX upgrade is on a smaller scale, as Vayne doesn’t have a lot of VFX opportunities in her kit. We have focused primarily on cleaning and modernizing their equipment, removing some of the old noise that was present, ”they wrote.
Although the changes are more subtle than other VFX updates, they make its animations more elegant and fit better with newer champions. His E ability, Condemn, now fires a much larger and more colorful arrow.
Her ultimate ability, End Time, now gives her a gray glow that makes it clear that she is empowered by the ability. Auto attacks are now more refined on updated skins as well. Here are all the skins that are getting an update for Vayne:
- Base
- Dragon hunter
- Heartseeker
- SKT T1
- Arclight
Vayne is one of the few champions to have had visual updates recently, and her partner AD Carry Varus is getting a good review. A full breakdown of all of her updated effects is shown in the video, so we can already get an idea of how this relates to Runeterra’s beloved monster hunter.
