Do you have a Samsung mobile and are you waiting for the Android 11 and One UI 3.0 update? Today we have interesting news for all Samsung mobile users. The company has published much more information on the design and functionalities that will come to their devices when they upgrade to the new layer of customization and operating system. It also lets us know when One UI 3.0 will begin to be officially and stably implemented, along with Android 11, on the terminals. There is good news and bad news with this topic!
One UI 3.0 is now ready and will start to roll out in November
We have just entered November and Samsung has taken the opportunity to indicate that this is the month in which the updates for your Samsung mobile begin. One UI 3.0 will begin to be officially and stably deployed in the next 30 days for different devices. The bad news is that only a few devices will receive the long-awaited update so soon.
The first terminals to update will be the Samsung Galaxy S20 in all its variants, then they will give way to the Galaxy Note 20. We already told you a while ago which Samsung phones will be with the option to see Android 11 and One UI 3.0, although the update dates are a complete unknown.
Possible dates of Android 11 for Samsung mobiles
Samsung has confirmed that the update will begin this November, which means that it intends to have its flagship phones updated before the end of the year. These flagship devices are the high-end launched in 2020: the Galaxy S20 series, the Galaxy Note 20 series and perhaps the folding ones presented this year. The latter are the Galaxy Z Flip and the Galaxy Fold 2.
Will they be the only ones to update before the end of 2020? It is difficult to know, since previous years the management of Samsung updates has not been very good. What is unlikely is that any of the mid-range devices in its catalog will see Android 11 before the end of 2020. These terminals will surely have the final update date of the first quarter of 2021.
The high-end of previous years are also within Android 11 and One UI 3.0, but with difficulty we will see the Galaxy S10 or Galaxy Note 10 update before the end of the year. This update is likely to be destined for early 2021 as well.
These are assumptions we have made based on Samsung’s management of previous years. The company may surprise us and leave us with earlier updates than expected. What is certain is that if you have a Galaxy S20 or a Galaxy Note 20 you will have Android 11 and One UI 3.0 before the end of the year. If nothing happens with this update, of course.
Will you have an update for your Samsung mobile in 2020? Do you think your mobile will be left out of Android 11?
