HP has announced the launch of two new large format monitors Focused on users who are looking for an advanced screen with the latest in features but who do not want to spend a fortune with gaming specifications.
Are the HP U32 4K HDR and the HP M34d WQHD, both with unified connection system by USB Type-C that in addition to the video signal is capable of feeding gagdets and a laptop PC.
The HP U32 4K HDR is a flat panel display 31.5-inch IPS diagonal in 16: 9 aspect ratio that offers 4K resolution (3840×2160 pixels) and support for high dynamic range (HDR) reaching 99% of the sRGB color space and 98% of the DCI-P3.
It has a basic refresh rate of 60 Hz, 1,000: 1 contrast with a typical brightness of 400 nits, certified VESA HDR 400 and a response time of 4 ms GtG.
Connectivity is served with a DisplayPort 1.4 input, another HDMI 2.0 port, three USB-A 3.2 (Gen 1) and 3.5 mm jack audio output.
HP M34d WQHD
The other model is the M34d WQHD, this time of the curved type with a diagonal of 34 inches and a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels over a 21: 9 aspect ratio.
The display panel is in this case type VA with a refresh rate of 100 Hz, a more limited brightness of only 250 nits and a contrast that improves over the previous model reaching the ratio of 3500: 1.
The response time is 5 ms GtG and we have a DisplayPort 1.2 port, another HDMI 2.0, four USB-A 3.2 (Gen 1), headphone output and two built-in speakers.
Price and availability
The monitor HP U32 4K HDR will go on sale in October for a price that will be around 400 euros while the curved model HP M34d WQHD It can already be found in Spain for a price of 448 euros.
