New spy photos of the BMW M2 coupé 2023. With the new compact sports car already on sale, the sports division continues with the tuning program of the most radical version. The latest snapshots allow a generous look at the interior, different from the base versions, with a large screen in the instrument cluster.
The new generation of the BMW 2 Series Coupé is already on sale, although those interested will have to be patient to receive their first units, which will arrive in spring 2022. Meanwhile, the BMW M technicians continue with the test program designed for the new BMW M2 2023. The sportiest version of the range, which promises to surpass its predecessor.
And it is that the bar is very high in a model that has reached a level very close to that of its older brothers. The news spy photos of this wildest BMW option remains as camouflaged as in previous sightings, in which it is impossible to glimpse a detail, although we can see that will not adopt the new vertical grille that looks on the front of the M3 and M4. This part has already been seen in a leak, preserving the classic double grill but changing the interior.

Instead of thin double vertical bars, they will be in horizontal arrangement. With leafy air intakes in the bumper, on the side it has profiled skirts and bulging wheel arches that place the wheels more at the ends, which gives a more aggressive stance. At the back, the most prominent feature will be the new spoiler placed on the edge of the trunk lid, and the four exhausts in the center of the rear. Nothing really new under the multiple layers of vinyl.
But what is new is the interior of this new M2. The look that we can take to the dashboard reveals a more modern configuration than that shown in the new 2 Series Coupé. And it is that the top of the range will have, from the launch, with the new digital instrument cluster with minimalist design that is being fitted across the range. The same curved screen debuted on board the iX.
The G87, as it is known internally, will be unveiled after the summer of 2022, will go into production in December and will arrive in dealerships in late spring 2023. Under the hood, you’ll ride the M4’s 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine, with a maximum power of 450 hp and available with both manual and automatic transmission. The sports car will feature sophisticated options, up to 20-inch alloy wheels and a carbon roof.
