The Amazon Echo speakers are very practical, but it must be admitted that their design is a bit boring. Time to customize them a bit!
Do you have a device Amazon Echo at home? They are speakers with a very sober design. But it has its reason for being: Amazon wants that go unnoticed in the place where you put them. And that they do not clash, regardless of the decoration of your house.
In that sense they do a great job, but it must be recognized that they are boring to see. So why not customize them a bit?
Thanks to the magic of 3D printers, it can be found on the Internet original shelves for Amazon Echo Dot speakers, inspired by The Mandalorian, Baby Yoda, Darth Vader, Pikachu, Hello Kitty, and many other famous people. You can see them in this gallery:
All of them, except Baby Yoda, are sold thereto Slic3DArt store from the platform Etsy, specialized in artisan products.
They have been created to be printed with a 3D printer, but they do not sell the plans, but the plastic part. That is to say, you don’t need a 3D printer to get them, if you like.
Its price varies between 18 and 35 euros, and we do not know if they will last long in the store, considering that they are not officially licensed. The only one who does is the baby yoda booth, available on Amazon Spain for 24.99 euros.
Shelves accommodate both Amazon Echo Best sellers. The 3rd Gen Amazon Echo Dot, which is flat, and the 4th Gen Amazon Echo Dot, which is a kind of ball.
As we see in the previous gallery, most of them leave ample space for the speaker output, necessary for it to work well, since you have to understand what Alexa says.
It should be clarified that these shelves are just that, a piece of decorative plastic. That is, they adorn the speaker, but do not add any extra functions to existing ones.
On Etsy, the platform of online stores that sell artisan products, you will find dozens of sellers who sell all kinds of products created with a 3D printer.
