Shrinking, on Apple TV Plus, is a new comedy series that explores the ins and outs of psychology to address issues like loss and grief. What would happen if we suddenly started communicating our thoughts without a filter? What would I change? These questions and more will be addressed in episodes starring Harrison Fordin one of his first roles for television, and Jason Segel. In addition, the project promises quality, since behind its realization are people involved with the multi-award-winning ted lasso.

What is it about?
The official synopsis offered by the service of streaming (via) is as follows:
“It follows a bereaved therapist who begins to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what’s on his mind. Disregarding his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge and tumultuous changes in people’s lives…including his own.”
What can we expect from Shrinkingfrom Apple TV Plus?
As we clarified before, Ford is just beginning to play roles in television projects, so it will be interesting to see him in this new facet. At least it was for Segel, who, in an interview with the magazine For therecounted his experience working with the veteran interpreter in the filming of the 10 chapters that make up the first season:
“It’s very funny, because he calls me ‘boy’ and I call my daughter ‘girl’. It’s natural, and it’s kind of a beautiful legacy. We have a mentor-student relationship on the show, but I think it really borders on a father-son relationship. Jimmy [mi personaje] she desperately wants Harrison’s approval. He’s like a surrogate father figure.”
In addition, he added the following:
“I tried not to act totally like a fan and he did a good job of making me feel like a contemporary rather than a fan.”
Cast and production crew
In addition to Jason Segel and Harrison Ford, the series stars Christa Miller (Scrubs), jessica williams (Love Life), michael urie (Ugly Betty), Luke Tennie (players) Y lukita maxwell (generate+ion).
Segel, Bill Lawrence, Brett Goldstein, Neil Goldmann, james ponsoldt, Randall Winston, Jeff Ingold Y Liza Katzer serve as executive producers. Segel is a co-creator with Lawrence and Goldstein (ted lasso), and wrote the first episode, which was directed by Ponsoldt (Here and now).
When it premieres?
The first two episodes are available on the platform from the Friday, January 27, 2023. There will be a new episode weekly, every Friday.
