April enters its final stretch with a last week in which many will be looking forward to finally making the definitive wardrobe change, at least to say goodbye to the heaviest coats once and for all, already thinking about summer. We follow enjoying home cooking leaving behind the torrijas but without forgetting the more traditional recipes.
And we say traditional not only focusing on our homeland gastronomy, with recipes as typically homemade as French omelettes or vegetable stews, but also we are going on a trip around the world with dishes full of flavor to escape boredom at the table.
We hope that this week’s proposals inspire you to continue cooking with enthusiasm at home, and above all enjoying varied, affordable dishes that can be adapted to the taste of the whole family. Salads, gazpachos and lots of fruit with which to refresh our menus will soon arrive.
Monday
Meal. Traditional stewed lentils with vegetables.
Dinner. Tuna tortilla with quick flatbread or chickpea flour chapati.
Tuesday
Meal. Sole a la meunière with capers and garnish of roasted carrots with cumin.
Dinner. Swedish style potatoes with sausages or pyttipanna.
Wednesday
Meal. Vegetables with cod and vegetables.
Dinner. Parmesan chicken fillets with steamed bimi.
Thursday
Meal. Grilled turbot loins with artichokes.
Dinner. Pork ribs in green sauce with pico de gallo garnish.
Friday
Meal. Grilled Hawaiian tofu with thyme-braised radishes and lemon garnish.
Dinner. Georgian Kachapuri with mesclun of lettuce to taste.
Saturday
Meal. Tallains from Alicante.
Dinner. Asian snack with bacon ssam or saam, spiced sautéed prawns and cold Vietnamese rolls with peanut sauce.
Sunday
Meal. Round turkey and apple in a pressure cooker with a garnish of Castilian sauce and mashed potatoes.
Dinner. Cheese omelette with seasoned tomato, sprouts and olives to taste.
