One of the ways to care for the Earth is by recycling those materials that can be reused. And as parents, you can teach your child to recycle and not waste. We are in a time when caring for Planet Earth is essential, as it is our only home and it is full of treasures that we must preserve.
In order for your child to learn to recycle, we leave you the following tips:
- It teaches how to separate waste: it is very easy. Just follow the color rule: -Green for organic -Grey for inorganic
- Separate devices and other components: if a cell phone, charger or batteries are out of order, teach your child that there are special deposits for them, and that they do not go in the common garbage.
- Special spaces for recycling: you can make special waste cans with geometric shapes and colors to better identify them: a green triangle for the organic ones and a gray box for the inorganic ones. Distribute organic pots in the bathroom and kitchen, and inorganic pots in the rest of the house.
- Create a memorama: Make a memorama game out of green and gray cardboard pieces so they learn to differentiate between organic and inorganic.
- Draw pictures on both sides of the paper.
- Reuse school supplies: like colors, pencil sharpeners, and things that may still work.
- Do not use wrapping for gifts, or make beautiful wrapping by recycling paper (a mood is newsprint, which makes them look very original and fun).
If your child learns to recycle, he will become more aware and responsible for his environment, which is undoubtedly an invaluable heritage.
