Apple has removed 3 iPhone models from its catalog to make room for the four new iPhone 13s.
After the presentation event of the new iPhone 13, Apple has made important changes to the iPhone for sale. Something similar happens every year, when new iPhones arrive, others go out and stop being sold. In this case, Apple has removed the iPhone XR and iPhone 12 Pro from its catalog.
The iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone XR are no longer sold in the Apple Store, although they can continue to be purchased at other official Apple distributors. The iPhone 11 has replaced the iPhone XR as an affordable option, and the iPhone 12 takes the place left by the iPhone 11 as a more modern option.
This is how Apple’s iPhone range remains
Apple has removed three iPhones from its catalog to make room for the four new iPhone 13s, so we have more iPhones for sale than ever. We practically have an iPhone model in every price range, from 500 to 1,200 euros. The iPhone catalog for 2022 is configured as follows:
- iPhone SE: from 489 euros.
- iPhone 11: from 589 euros.
- iPhone 12 mini: from 689 euros.
- iPhone 12: from 809 euros.
- iPhone 13 mini: from 809 euros.
- iPhone 13: from 909 euros.
- iPhone 13 Pro: from 1,159 euros.
- iPhone 13 Pro Max: from 1,259 euros.
It is interesting that Apple has left the iPhone 12 mini in the catalog, it becomes a really interesting and cheap option for those who want a compact and powerful device.
The iPhone XR has been on sale since 2018, which means 3 years in the Apple catalog. Without a doubt, it is probably one of the best-selling iPhone models in history.
For their part, iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max disappear so as not to overshadow the new iPhone 13 Pro, a common strategy. When the iPhone 12 Pro were introduced, the iPhone 11 Pro disappeared, and the same happened a year before with the iPhone XS.
