A tournament organized by AUNA, one of the consortiums dedicated to promoting the development of Blockchain in Latin America, has awarded three Chilean ventures that participated in the tournamentwithin the 32 finalists who belonged to eight countries.
The Central Securities Depository, the Santiago Stock Exchange and Gtd Chile were the ones that sponsored this tournamentand was attended by countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Peru, India, Italy, England, the United States and Chile.
Among the challenges proposed by the organizers of AUNA Open Challenge are digital identity, disbursements and expediting procedures, improvements for insurance companies, improvements in municipal procedures and a particularity, creativity was left open, a challenge that the contesting companies had to overcome. This challenge was about the creation of a solution that will demonstrate that the Blockchain allows generating new ways of collaborating between companies and their business models.
The tournament prize for first place was ten thousand dollars, and was obtained by the Colombian company Maketxmwho demonstrated a technology called coIIXM, and with the possibility, in addition to an eventual option, of piloting the proposal with real clients and thus expanding the commercialization of their business in other countries such as Chile and Peru.
In the final of the tournament, the countries Chile, Argentina, Colombia and England were present divided into 12 companies. Second place and third place were occupied by three Chilean companies. Second place was shared between Valeria Deik from the Azurian company with the Meditrace proposal, which specializes in drug traceability; The other second place went to Jorge Garcés from the Gatblac company with the Ivento proposal, a non-fungible token exchange platform for event management, loyalty programs and online marketing, thus enabling a market for the resale of these tickets. in NFT formats for producers to make a profit.
In third place, Joaquin González won with Cero Trade, which is outlined in the traceability and sale of renewable energy certificates, which was framed in the open category of the tournament.
It is notable to mention that the companies Ivento; Meditrace, Cetrade and Equitly Finance won courses on Blockchain through Colledge, and BCI LAb in conjunction with Mauricio Brito from Hub have offered proof of concept to the winning companies and a network of mentors, physical spaces and carried out a pilot test with GatAuth from the Gatblac company.
