Tiktoker reveals how much they pay to work on the heights of the Golden Gate
Through a video on the Tik Tok social network, an Internet user and content creator showed how much they pay the people who work doing maintenance to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, located in the city of San Francisco.
In the recording, the Internet user identified with the user @devoramundos_oficial shared the revelation he made to him a worker of Mexican nationality who was at work while he was visiting the infrastructure.
In the video, the Latino worker explains that they have a union that accumulates a percentage of their wages so that when they retire they can live well.
“It is the union, a package that they grab and from there they take you away and take away. But for old age it is very useful to you”, says the employee.
It also details that currently he earns 54 dollars an hour, which is equivalent to about a thousand Mexican pesos, per hour.
“The union is paid more and when I retired, things went very well,” he adds.
Tiktoker also asked an American worker who was doing the same job as the Mexican how much he was paid and he mentioned 57 dollars an hour.
