It is the first time that Persona 5 comes to Xbox consoles.
Announced during the past Xbox & Bethesda Showcase, Persona 5 Royal is finally coming to Xbox consoles this falland we have already been able to see the first gameplay of the Atlus game running on Xbox Series X | S, where the great novelty is that it now has improved performance up to 60fps.
Interestingly, for those responsible, it is Persona 5 Royal Remastered and will include 40 DLC cosmetic content for the game that is entirely based on different outfits for the protagonists of the game. Apart from the performance improvement and any other technical adjustments that this version has for the new generation of consoles.
A remastered version of Persona 5 Royal
This first gameplay of Persona 5 Royal Remastered on Xbox Series X | S has been shared by the user Faz through YouTube and shows a brief look at the end of the game during the raid on one of its palaces (dungeons). It can be considered a spoiler if after so many years there are those who don’t know part of its history, but it serves to get an idea of what this new remastered version of the Atlus game offers in terms of graphics and performance.
At a graphic level, it seems that the changes are minimal, in the absence of seeing captures and videos at maximum quality, and not taken from a live broadcast. However, it is highly noticeable double the performance of the game when going from 30 to 60 fps, the action is much smoother and the animations and effects look more fluid. We will see soon if other aspects of the game have also improved.
Persona 5 Royal is coming to Xbox next October 21while Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden they will arrive in 2023. All of them will be available in Xbox Game Pass at launch. Great news for Microsoft’s subscription service, which continues to add new launch games that will arrive in the coming weeks.
