Today March 10th is officially celebrated MAR10 Day, a day to commemorate the beloved red plumber who has accompanied us on many adventures throughout the history of Nintendo. Everyone has their own ways of celebrating it, and Jaime “El Bronco” Rodriguez, Former Governor of Nuevo Leónfound a rather… peculiar one, which has caused a lot of laughter among the community.
Since a couple of years, The Bronco He has used video games as another way to connect with his audience, and even has his own video channel. Twitter where he streams games like Call of Duty, Pokémon, League of Legends, and more. But now for the MAR10 Daythe former ruler decided to make a photomontage in which he replaced the face of Shigeru Miyamoto for yours and shared it on your Facebook.
The Bronco He accompanied this photo with a message asking his followers to “invite him to the Mario Carreras challenges or the new Mario Strikers”, so if you don’t have someone to play either of these two titles with, you know who to invite.
Publisher’s note: We may see it as a joke, but this type of campaign is not just for fun. In fact, posts of this type tend to have a much larger reach than any other related to politics, and could be a very good strategy especially to connect with younger audiences.
