Market2.0 – What are the insights What caught your attention for this year’s edition?
Gabriel Mas – There are a couple of insights interesting that I can tell you about some of the best-selling products in Amazon in the three days that we have been and they are laptopsvideo game consoles, televisions, cell phones, printers, but also, there are always curiosities with what our customers buy and we are seeing toilet paper, sunscreen, milk, beauty products, these are the products that are selling the most.
The other thing that I would also say and it is important, because it is something that we place great emphasis on at Amazon, is that (it is a store) for everyone, so that customers in Mexico can pay as they wish. the first days of hot sale is that they pay with bank cards, months without interest and payment in installments with financing cost.
In Amazon You find what you want and that is what we have focused on with the client. There are more than 450 million products on Amazon and you can find everything from SME brands to well-known brands and that is something where customers find great satisfaction.
Merca2.0 – What was the communication strategy for the Hot Sale promotions, how was the distribution in the media?
GM – What I would say is that if you look at the announcements that have been made for Amazon, you will see that we focus on the products that we know that customers want to buy or give away, but also on household products; we see ads on TV for products like skin cream and this was a change this year, that we focused on day-to-day products because Amazon is a great place to find them.
Merca2.0 – What has been the evolution of the marketing strategy? marketing of Amazonwith inflation and the post-pandemic?
We want to continue being the store for everyone in Mexico and when we say that we want to be for everyone, that means that we have a wide variety of products first, and in terms of marketing, we want customers to know that Amazon it is the best place to make a purchase, that is for everyone and it is something that is important for the strategy of marketing and you will see that in the advertisements, where we talk about day-to-day products.
