Poor working conditions in Mexico keep 33% of young people unemployed.
Only 10% of graduates have an entrepreneurial business or their own company.
On Twitter they make satire for bad HR practices and violations of the labor law.
Mexico is evidence that labor complaints and violations of worker rights are a common denominator that deepens unemployment, especially after the recent crisis unleashed by the Covid-19 pandemic that strengthened the voice of people on social networks and gave to meet multiple “horror stories” of what is experienced in the country, be it with mistreatment, evasion of benefits, labor exploitation or abusive vacancies by companies and employers.
Likewise, there are also many structural factors that cause the shortage of places in the labor market, where seasonal problems and factors and an uneven recovery between the regions of the country are some of the causes that explain unemployment.
According to data from the National Occupation and Employment Survey (ENOE) prepared by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi), unemployment in the country fell to 3.1 percent during April 2022. Likewise, the report highlights that during that period, 57.7 million people found themselves working, 2.8 million people more than in April last year.
And it is that currently it is not so easy to be deceived or recruited for false and inconvenient positions. With the growing applications or job portals such as LinkedIn, OCCMundial or Indeed, anyone can read the “fine print” of the job offers that predominate in the market and find all those “red flags” that show bad Human Resources and intentional processes violations of the Federal Labor Law (LFT).
Fake vacancies or with strange requests are flooding the web, this is because Most of the internet pages where these jobs are advertised are not regulated or supervised by any government body.
Who won in the “World Horror Vacancies”?
“Vacancies of Terror” is a popular Twitter account for exposing bad job offers and alerting users to practices that are irregular and that they should not accept under any circumstances of necessity.
In the same way, it is the channel in which Mexican Internet users share their experiences in their workplaces and expose those things that harm their physical or mental health.
Now, within the framework of the Qatar 2022 Soccer World Cup, social satire was present with a survey on Twitter to evaluate two bad job offers.
As you can see, 64.6 percent of users voted for a job for a cleaning lady, compared to 35.4 percent who were angry with a vacancy for a web developer.
And continuing with our #WorldVacantsTerrorthis is the following game:
Web developer who will only get paid if the company has clients
vs.
Cleaning girl who wants to enter the exciting world of LawDetails in the thread, you know 😜.

The first case, the winner of the “World Cup of Terror Vacancies”, is for an offer that was looking for a girl to clean and work in a legal office, for the modest amount of 100 pesos a day. It is specified that the applicant must want to change careers and will have an “opportunity” to expand her legal knowledge, as long as she also agrees to do hygiene work.

Second place went to a volunteer web developer who would serve as Manager of Technology for a supposed international company who would measure their performance for a month until they knew they had hired the right person and only then, after that, would they commit to offering a salary base.

These types of examples are a reliable example of why workers are increasingly asking for a constitutional change to the LFT, where their physical and emotional values are recognized and their human rights respected, because only in this way can the future draw a new pattern in the relationship employer-employee where the chain of abuse and illegality of the Mexican business market can be broken.
