Telegram’s “Lefty Mode” has been shared, a bet to cover a market that is not so visible.
With the arrival of the smartphones managed to open a new scenario for the strategies of marketing digital and it is for this reason that, at present, social networks play a more than important role in the consumption habits of users.
In accordance with an ericsson studio, the number of smartphone subscriptions globally has surpassed six billion in 2021 and, in fact, it is expected to continue to increase gradually in the coming years. In this context, China, India and the United States are the three countries with the highest number of smartphone users on the planet, all of them exceeding the 100 million barrier.
On the other hand, data from Statista Key Market Indicators estimate that the number of smartphone users in Mexico was approximately 84.4 million. In addition, the number of users of these mobile devices is expected to exceed 95 million by 2025.
Having said this, it is time to talk about how smartphones have changed the consumption habits of Internet users, because, through a mobile application, it is possible to know everything that happens in the world, in real time.
Taking the latter into account, A recent study has revealed that, in the first half of 2022 alone, 35 billion mobile applications were downloaded, a figure that, however, represents a decrease of 2.5 percent compared to the apps that were downloaded during the same period in 2021.
Among the most downloaded mobile apps of 2022, the fact that Telegram is in position number six stands out, only two below WhatsApp, the most used instant messaging platform on the entire planet.
Now, at present, it is known that Telegram has more than 700 million users globallybeing one of the social networks that have grown the most in recent years, gaining more presence in the market, although without being a real “threat” for WhatsApp.
