The Mexican Association of Communicators (AMCO) will deliver the AMCO Award again, which distinguishes the best communication practices in Mexico. This recognition expresses the great value of communication, promotes professionalization and exalts the strategic nature of communication in companies.
Throughout almost 50 years of rewarding professionals, agencies and companies, 302 companies have participated in AMCO, 558 works have been proposed, 300 evaluating judges with more than 10 years of experience have collaborated and 190 prizes have been awarded.
“It fills me with enthusiasm to know that this year the AMCO 2022 Award will once again have a face-to-face celebration, with special sanitary measures. Well, with this we once again have the people who made an effort, see their award and celebrate together with the general managers who really perceive how communication changes their organizations”, said Edgar Rodríguez, President of AMCO.
The projects that can register to compete must be highlighted by 3 themes, strategy, execution and evaluation, which are subdivided to focus on other sub-themes, which are described below:
- Strategy: It is made up of broad projects, with planning processes, tactics and mechanisms to evaluate their effectiveness. They can be internal communication plans, external communication plans or internal-external communication plans.
- Executions: It applies to pieces, tactics or special communication videos, which must explain their effectiveness and quality of execution to their audiences. In this section apply videos, graphics, writings, events, experiences or themes in social networks.
- Evaluation: It focuses on knowing and determining the effectiveness of the strategies or tactics, whether positive or negative, and demonstrating the impact of the strategies or tactics, either with a new methodology or with measurement innovations.
The judges for the 2022 AMCO Award will be unveiled this September, and the awards ceremony will take place on November 10.
