Pixel art is perfect for Elden Ring, more than one would pay to play this version.
Since Elden Ring hit stores at the end of last February and caused a real furor among fans, we have seen several versions of FromSoftware’s game. from a version in isometric view reminiscent of the classic Action RPG, a demake as if it were a PS1 game, even an infamous mobile copy with no imagination even to invent names. Now we have to add one more to this list, one that emulates the aesthetics of Super Nintendo games.
This creation is in charge of the popular youtuber 64 bitwhich imagines Elden Ring as a Super NES game (with its box and all) and transports the beautiful world of the Middle Lands in the form of an overworld to be traveled on the back of Torrentera, while each location would be separated on independent maps.
He is lovely pixelart style with which classic enemies and locations of Elden Ring have been recreated such as the Golden Tree, the troll that falls from the bridge on the way to Stormveil Castle, the “pot boy”, Ranni or Miriel, shepherd of oaths. This character popularly known as Papa Tortuga because of his ecclesiastical hat also stars in a most endearing easter egg in this version of Elden Ring for SNES.
In one scene you can see how Sin Luz enters the church and in front of Miriel there is a message from a player that says “praise the dog!”as a reference to the Elden Ring memes calling turtles dogs, for no particular reason.
The future of Elden Ring
At the moment it is not known if there will be DLCs or sequels of Elden Ring in the future, but FromSoftware confirmed that they are already working on new updates. At a minimum we can expect changes like weapon and skill balances, bosses, bug fixes, etc.
