A whole journey through decades of the video game industry with enormous economic and sentimental value.
Surely we have all seen one of those programs on television where they bid for abandoned storage rooms where they later discover jewelry, furniture, electronic devices, works of art and other treasures. Well that’s just how a Tiktoker would have discovered a huge collection of retro games including classics like Donkey Kong and Super Punch-Out.
Retro games are a great attraction in this type of business for the sale of abandoned or repossessed storage rooms. Over the years we have seen that vintage games in mint condition have fetched auction prices of thousands of dollars and they are quite a claim for antique collectors.
A treasure trove of retro games
Tiktoker Lockerblocker20 recently shared a video of retro games he found in one of these storage rooms, including Nintendo, SNK and Sega Genesis games. The clip begins by showing a sealed collector’s edition of Halo Reach followed by a special edition of Skyrim for PS3 that comes in a box with a statue of a dragon or a drawer full of used Super Nintendo games like Super Punch-Out, Super Mario Kart and Donkey Kong Country.
He later shows still-sealed copies of Freedom Force, Super Team Games, Platoon and Guerrilla for NES. Check out.

It doesn’t end there, as another box features items from PS3 Resistance, such as a collector’s edition of Resistance 2, a Game Boy with Castlevania: The Adventure, Streets of Rage for the Sega Genesis, and Soul Blazer for the Super Nintendo. Another box is full of Intellivision titles like Donkey Kong, Microsurgeon, PGA Golf, Safecracker and Vectron.
In general, it is a very wide collection of games that goes from 1989 titles to more recent games such as Bioshock, Dragon’s Dogma, Grand Theft Auto 4, Halo 4 and The Witcher 2. A significant journey through decades of the video game industry that could reach a lot of value in the market for retro and used games.
