An estimated 70 percent of consumers say they spend more money with companies that offer good service.
Customer service is one of the main factors by which a brand can lose a consumer.
Customer service for a brand is now easier, thanks to social networks. That is why on these platforms it has become a common theme for consumers to share their bad experiences with a product, such as a young woman who reported that Yeri Mua makeup caused her allergies and the influencer responded to the case.
Social networks have become a channel widely used by brands to feel closer to their consumers. Given this, digital platforms register various accounts of these companies that offer their services to customers in these spaces.
In that sense, Zendesk defines customer service as “the process of resolving buyers’ problems before, during, and after a sale. This includes handling complaints, technical support and customer assistance”.
This was answered by the influencer Yeri Mua
After launching her makeup line on the market, the influencer Yeri Mua continues to receive positive messages and even complaints from people who bought the product.
This is the case of a young woman who denounced that the famous makeup caused her an allergy, for which it went viral on the TikTok social network.
It was the user @veada_santana who shared a video pointing out that after using the Yerymua x Beauty Creations collection she suffered an allergy, she also commented that during her visit to the doctor she received antibiotic treatment.
After the recording went viral, Yeri Mua came out in defense of her makeup, assuring that the complainant “used flakes”, but that she did not know how to apply them and that is why she had negative reactions.
“I saw the video of the girl who said her eye turned red and what I think is that she most likely used flakes and they most likely fell into her eye,” said the influencer.
@veada_santana I blame the eyelash glue because I used it that day (Friday), and the next day (Saturday) and I told the doctor (Monday late at night) and he told me that if I used something else and I told him the collection and said that it was very common for people to have an allergic reaction to NEW makeup, that he thinks it was that and not the glue that he had already used on several occasions, even though I will use it again after relieving myself to confirm that it is. It’s something that has to do with the palette, I’m not throwing it 💩 far from it, it’s just my experience AFTER using it, and hopefully not because I loved the collection ❤️ #yerimua #beautycreations #yericollections #fypppppppppppppp #greenscreen #makeup #gdl #make-up ♬ use this if you’re gay – ☆
In her explanation, the content creator added that according to her doctor, the use of the flakes, if they fall into your eye “can hurt the cornea, so she called for people who buy this product from her collection to use it cautiously and carefully.”
“Girls, if the flakes fall into your eye, they can hurt your cornea (…) that’s why it’s very important to see my tutorials to know how to apply the flakes, because within a clear eye they can cause any type of reaction,” she added.
Likewise, he explained that “they are not my flakes, it is any flake of any brand, be it from Bissu, from Adela, from any brand that you use and do not know how to apply. What I believe is that the girl got a flake in her eye, she hurt herself and caused the infection that she has in her eyes.
But also the customer service offered by the influencer Yeri Mua, consisted of paying for the medications of the young woman with allergies.
“I recommend that the girl send an email to the Beauty Creations page so that they can resolve this issue, she can even contact me and I can support her with the prescription drugs so that she does not suffer any problem (…) and I can send you a tutorial on how I use the flakes so that it doesn’t happen again,” said Yeri.
There are many recurring cases of customer service that are registered on social networks, a recent one is the complaint filed by the youtuber Chumel Torres against TotalPlay, but which was attended to by the brand in a good way.
