So far only the Nobel of Medicine and Physics. Wednesday will be announced at Nobel Prize in Chemistry, before the expected awards of Literature, Thursday, and the Peace, on Friday, the only one awarded in Oslo.
The one of Economy will close the Nobel season next Monday.
Here we tell you who are the characters that have already been awarded and what are the names that sound to receive the Nobel in the pending categories.
Who won the Nobel Prize in Medicine?
The Nobel Prize in Medicine was awarded to Americans David Julius and Ardem Patapoutian for his discoveries of receptors for temperature and touch.
His discoveries have uncovered one of nature’s secrets by explaining the molecular basis for feeling heat, cold, and mechanical force, which is fundamental to our ability to feel, interpret, and interact with our internal and external environment.

Winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics
This year’s Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded with half jointly, to the Japanese-American Syukuro Manabe and German Klaus Hasselman “for the physical modeling of the Earth’s climate, quantifying the variability and reliably predicting global warming”, and the other half to the Italian theorist Giorgio Parisi “for the discovery of the interaction of disorder and fluctuations in physical systems from the atomic to the planetary scale.”
The three laureates share this year’s Nobel Prize in Physics for their studies of chaotic and seemingly random phenomena. Syukuro Manabe and Klaus Hasselmann laid the foundation for our understanding of Earth’s climate and how humanity influences it. Giorgio Parisi is rewarded for his revolutionary contributions to the theory of disordered materials and random processes.

Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2021
The Nobel Prize in Chemistry will be announced this Wednesday, October 6.
The names that sound to receive the award are Katalin kariko and Drew weissman, who pioneered the development of messenger RNA technology, the same technique used in the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines against COVID-19.
“It would be a mistake if the Nobel committee did not give the prize to the messenger RNA vaccine this year,” said Ulrika Björkstén, director of the science department of Swedish public radio, questioned by the AFP.
The Academy of Sciences, in charge of presenting this award, is sometimes criticized for its tendency to award prizes to very old discoveries, it could also finally reward lymphocyte experts Max Cooper and Jacques Miller.
Research on breast cancer (Mary-Claire King and Dennis Slamon) or fields such as antibiotic resistance or epigenetics are also mentioned by the nobelists.
