The 2022 edition of The Game Awards it left Elden Ring as Game of the Year, and God of War: Ragnarök taking six awards, including Best Narrative and Best Performance for Christopher Judge as Kratos.
Held at the Microsoft Theater and with Geoff Keighley as presenter, the event even left a curious moment, when a spontaneous took the stage with the Elden Ring crew to congratulate… former US President Bill Clinton.
The Game Awards 2022 was broadcast live on more than 40 digital platforms, with special performances by Halsey, Hozier and Bear McCleary, as well as presentations by figures from the video game and entertainment industry such as Al Pacino, Pedro Pascal and Reggie Fils-Aime.
God of War: Ragnarok It was the most winning title, with 6 in total, out of 11 nominations. While, Elden Ring he won four, including Game of the Year.
