Like every year around this time, those from Cupertino have announced the winners of the App Store Awards, the awards that reward the best applications available in the App Store. Winning an App Store Awards means not only recognition of high-quality applications, also a springboard for developers to reach a larger audience.
Total, 16 applications and games have been awarded in the different categories in which Apple lists its awards. Not just for being good apps, but for going beyond the norm to deliver exceptional experiences and have a profound cultural impact.
The award-winning apps, as usual, have been selected by the editorial team of the App Store, which is also in charge of making these stories so complete that, since the renewal of the Apple store, they occupy a privileged place and serve as meeting point to discover new applications and services.
Many of the winners in this edition of the App Store Awards are apps widely recognized by users, both for offering something different and for have been an unprecedented success in the mobile ecosystem of Appland. Others, more discreet, but of exceeding quality, which now with the award, is the perfect time to try and discover.
