In this sense, you can find two types of personal scales on the market, such as mechanical (analog) scales, which are where the measurement is read on a rotating disc that has the range of values expressed in kilograms recorded, they are less accurate than electronics and its maximum capacity is approximately 130 kg.
While electronic (digital) scales have a measurement that is shown directly on a digital screen (display) and need batteries to work, they are also more accurate and have a maximum capacity of up to 180 kg.
In that same context, consumers must take into account, when buying a scale, the various options and the budget that is available.
“Despite the fact that electronic scales are more expensive than mechanical ones, we recommend you buy them, since they keep the weight record for a few seconds after getting off it, which makes it easier to read. Ask for the guarantee to be stamped in the store, because it will be necessary in case you need to make a claim ”, they explain.
It is not the first time that Profeco reveals a list of products and brands that meet all the standards for consumers to buy and also those that do not meet these data.
