The green kite It will make its closest approach to Earth -43 million km- and will be visible from 7:19 p.m. until 03:08 hrs., 45° above the N horizon, with coordinates AR 06h 30m 20s and DEC 72°42′, in the direction of the constellation of Camelopardalis, the Giraffe.
February 8: α-Centaurid meteor shower
This astronomical event is visible from January 28 to February 21, with the maximum on February 8. The maximum observable rate is variable with at least 6 meteors per hour. The radiant is in the direction of the constellation Centauri, with coordinates AR=14h01m, DEC=-59º05′. The object responsible for the rain has not been fully identified. The best time will be at dawn on the 8th, towards the southern part of the Celestial Sphere.
