With the foregoing in mind, for weeks the director of the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (Issste), Pedro Zenteno Santaella, announced a total renovation in all its units. “The commitment and the fundamental task at the institute is to implement quality care and humanism for the masters and lords of the Issste: the right of ownership. For this reason, we are equipping hospitals throughout the Mexican Republic to modernize them, as well as reduce the backlog in surgeries left by the pandemic.”
For their part, the last hospitals to receive this benefit were two of Acapulco, Guerrero, and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.

He also announced that it will coordinate with the different regulatory departments of the institute to propose the hospital reconversion strategy and give continuity to the services that were delayed by the pandemic.

The director of the hospital, Silvio Rosales Flores, explained that these innovative tools will benefit the areas of the operating room, gynecology, general surgery, internal medicine, intensive care unit, recovery, shock room, Central Equipment and Sterilization (CEyE), nurseries pathology and pediatrics.

The head of this hospital, which serves 336,509 beneficiaries, Jaime Pérez Bejarano, explained that this cutting-edge material will support the modernization of areas that, for many years, were abandoned and were not provided with adequate rehabilitation and maintenance to grant the corresponding attention.
