Xiaomi’s long-awaited return to the world of tablets is very close, and it will be next August 10 the day chosen by the Chinese firm to show us all the news that the new Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will incorporate.
In previous posts we have already told you that this generation It will arrive accompanied by a physical keyboard and a stylus to improve its productivity on a day-to-day basis, but now, thanks to its passage through the well-known Geekbench application, we have been able to know the processor and the memory configuration that it will finally mount.
Snapdragon 870 to give a high-end performance experience
In principle, the new generation of the Xiaomi Mi Pad will arrive with different internal configurations with which we can choose between supposed “Lite”, “Pro” models and a standard version. The specific model that has passed through Geekbench corresponds to the model number M2105K81AC, and it is the one that reveals the incorporation of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor as the main brain of the device.
In addition, this processor will be accompanied by the Adreno 650 GPU, 6GB RAM configuration (pending confirmation of other versions with greater capacity) and Android 11 under the classic MIUI customization layer, which could incorporate the long-awaited MIUI PC function.
To all this, we must add a recent promotional poster launched by Xiaomi itself which confirms that this Mi Pad 5 will mount inside a configuration of eight speakers integrated into its chassis that will provide us with a high quality stereo sound with which the Chinese firm will seek to compete with the best of the tablet market.
As we can see, it is increasingly clear to us what the Mi Pad 5 will finally be like and, despite the fact that some of the rumors are far from confirmed, we will be able to clear up doubts on August 10 with its official release in the Chinese market.
