The new top-of-the-range electric scooter of the Chinese brand can already be purchased from August 22 and lives up to its name, since it is not in vain that it comes with many improvements compared to its predecessor.

With that message, Xiaomi recently announced the arrival of its new electric scooter. A model that also becomes the flagship of its range of personal mobility vehicles for micromobility in the city.

We recently told you about the entire range of electric scooters that Xiaomi currently sells in Spain. In that same article we advanced the prompt arrival of the new 4 Pro, which comes to pick up the baton from Pro 2.
And it is that the 4 Pro has various improvements with respect to its older brother, highlighting its larger size or the technical improvements implemented.
The 4 Pro is 6 centimeters taller, 68 millimeters longer and features a 165mm wide platformpicking up the witness of the 146 mm of the Pro 2. This makes this new electric scooter more stable and assumes the increase in performance with greater guarantees.
We refer to the new 700W motorwhich becomes the most powerful in the Xiaomi range and allows the legal limit of 25 km/h to be reached, as well as a 20% climbing capacity and a autonomy of up to 55 kilometers in combination with its 12,400 mAh (446 Wh) lithium-ion battery.
These mechanical elements are mounted on a new lightweight aerospace specification aluminum body that moves on larger 10-inch wheels with self-sealing puncture-proof tubeless tire. With this, Xiaomi wants the user to gain comfort and cushioning capacity against the irregularities of the asphalt always present in the city.
As usual in the most advanced models on the market, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro has various modes of use depending on the needs or tastes of the user.
In this case there are three and they are selected by tapping the power button twice. The first allows a speed between 0 and 6 km/h. The second has been designed to move between 6 and 20 km/h. Finally, the Sport mode allows to reach the maximum speed of 25 km/h.
It is also worth noting the smart battery management system (BMS), which has six types of protection to guarantee its good condition and prolong its duration. Specifically, we are talking about protection against short circuits, overcurrent, overloads and excessive discharges, as well as thermal protection and automatic suspension protection due to undervoltage.
Price and availability
As we have already told you, the new Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro goes on sale from August 22 and does so at a very PRO official price: €799.
For that amount, in addition to all of the above, you will also enjoy functions such as a Car-inspired KERS, multi-function panel, 2.5W ultra-bright glare-free front light, larger and more intense tail light or double braking system with E-ABS included. You dare?
