Sharing images and videos on social networks from a video game console is a fairly simple process. However, Microsoft has made the lives of users of the Xbox Series X|S who wish to carry out this process is more complicated, since It was recently revealed that the option to post content directly from the console to Twitter is no longer available.
According to Windows Central, the latest update for the Xbox Series X|S, which is only available to Insiders at this time, has removed the option to share videos and images to Twitter from the console. Thus, all those who wish to publish some interesting material have to do it from the Xbox mobile application.
With this, Microsoft added Twitter and other social media icons to the “mobile sharing” option for Game DVR. In this way, it has been indicated that the company does not intend to integrate this option once again in the future. At the moment it is unknown why this decision was made, but it is speculated that this is a consequence of the fact that very few people share content directly from the console, or that the rate imposed by Twitter is high.

Editor’s note:
It’s kind of sad that an option that’s present on the Switch and PlayStation consoles is no longer available to Xbox Series X|S users. However, I have to admit that I never used this. All the images that I share on Twitter, I download directly from the mobile application.
