Video game characters need to always be well fed to face the challenging adventures that await them. If you are one of those who die of envy when you see these feasts that stick sometimes or the plates that are put into the body, soon you will be able to cook yours in reality with the cookbooks from The Witcher and Halo.
The first of them is an official book by CD Projekt RED that includes a total of 80 different recipes inspired by the dishes from the video game saga starring Geralt of Rivia. All of them have been conceived and prepared by Anita Sarna and Karolina Krupecka, the creators of the Nerd’s Kitchen and Witcher Kitchen food blogs.
In the description of the book you can read that it intends to offer us a culinary journey through the fantasy world of The Witcher, with recipes that will give us a sample of the different flavors that Geralt was able to taste during his adventures. These will include fragrant stews from White Orchard, snacks from Oxenfurt markets, or hot drinks from Skellige, to name a few.
Cookbook launch The Witcher will occur on October 25 and for the moment you have it available to reserve on Amazon in its Kindle version for 11.22 euros or in physical hardcover for 32.89 euros.
Regarding the other book dedicated to Halo, it indicates that the Master Chief also needs to fill his stomach from time to time. Thanks to him we will learn to prepare appetizers, snacks, desserts and all kinds of dishes with any of the more than 70 recipes designed to feed an entire squad of soldiers.
All of them are accompanied by photographs and all the steps to follow to get to become the Master Chef. In addition, they are designed so that anyone can prepare them, regardless of their level in the kitchen. Even Steve Downes, the voice actor who voices the Master Chief, shared one of the recipes on his Twitter account.
The cookbook of Halo will be available even earlier, as its arrival is expected for the August 16th. Until then, you can also reserve it on Amazon in its Kindle version for 14.83 euros or opt for its physical hardcover edition for 37.91 euros.
