A very modern concept for a rural getaway (as much as it has a back-to-the-wilderness aesthetic) is that of the cabins among the trees. They are cute and perfect to combine a few days of total disconnection, where you can forget about everything, with a new and very special experience. Although in Spain we have many that are amazing, add to the aforementioned, the fashionable destination: Portugal. Booking in one of these cabins between branches is, without a doubt, stand out from the rest of the tourists when it comes to getting to know the neighboring country.

Although supported by pillars, these tree houses maintain the principles of the concept. They have been designed by the architect Luis Rebelo and built in slate and wood for its perfect integration in the landscape. The cabins have their own bathroom, a small kitchen and two panoramic windows: one facing the forest and the other facing the sky (for stargazing).

Although nature is the protagonist, the most adventurous will enjoy the Pena Aventura Parkan amusement park with tree climbing, canyoning… However, there are also more relaxed activities, such as bicycle routes or Golf.

Pedras Salgadas Spa & Nature Park is located in the north of Portugal (about 45 minutes by car from Porto), next to the waters of Pedras Salgadas, offering, in addition to treehouses and bungalows, a spa area, restaurant on-site specializing in local cuisine and an outdoor pool for when the heat tightens.
