Spain has experienced this weekend one of the most tense moments recently remembered on television. What could perfectly be a first-class cinematographic scene took place on the Castilla-La Mancha regional channel, although fortunately, and thanks to the networks, all Spaniards have been able to be accomplices in such an event. Specifically, during the broadcast of the semi-final of the copla contest to your side.
What you will see next is the surreal story of Sandrina Martínez (already an icon of the popular culture of our country) and his mother (alive until now).

The contest is usually held weekly and looks for new voices of the copla and the Spanish song. Saturday celebrated the end of the gala where two of the participants duel to decide who remains in the competition. Y Martínez, dressed in the best outfits to defend her song, played the pass of the contest with her version of triniaby Concha Piquer.
Everything was going well for the first few seconds until after several bars of the song, the artist stopped singing and began to move from one side of the stage to the other without a fixed course. Something was eating him inside. “Can I start again? Please, let me know it all. Repeat it, please, I know it all,” the contestant pleaded.
I had momentarily forgotten the lyrics. But the woman, who she asked during the performance to be allowed to start over, she saw her pleas go unheeded as a result of the contest rules. A situation that led her to anger, according to her gestural fuss. When she regained control of the subject for a few seconds, Sandrina would stop dead again and, shortly after, she would go to the back of the set. Even so, the camera has captured how the woman staggered and, finally, he fainted.
The singer crouched down and then lay on her back with her arms crossed, a situation that perplexed the rest of her companions. Some cries of “assassin” mixed with the background music already alerted us that the moment would remain in the retina of any spectator who happened to be watching it. The Pianist’s Face: A Poem. She kept playing in disbelief of what her eyes saw.

The story was not going to end here. In fact, the best was yet to come. On the other side of the stage, in the stands, the other cameras immediately captured a motionless woman who was being helped by some people in the audience: Sandrina’s mother. Out of himself, I was having a nervous breakdown considerable.
“I’m fine, mom!” Sandrina kept repeating, getting up from the ground at lightning speed to remedy the tremendous scare her mother had gotten when she saw her star in such a Dantesque scene. “Mom, Mom! I’m fine,” although her mother’s condition was more worrying than her own.
The program chose, then, to show only the pants of the set and avoid focusing on the lady’s anxiety crisis. Never a plane with the sign FINAL CHALLENGE it had been twilight. Next, the cameras gave way to Alicia Senovilla who, Coca-Cola bottle in hand behind her fan (in surprise), shelved the matter by announcing the end of the program and apologizing to the audience. “Gentlemen, we are a bit surprised. Sandrina’s nerves have played a trick on her, we are leaving,” said the presenter, totally amazed by the situation.
While the contestant’s cries were still heard, repeating incessantly “Mama, I’m fine!”, the veteran host said goodbye to the program: “We are waiting for you next Saturday at 10 at night. I think that, in the end, nerves are not good companions”.
Fortunately, everything was in a scare as confirmed hours later to your side via Twitter: “After what happened at today’s gala finale, we want to send a message of calm and communicate that Sandrina is fine. Next week we will keep you informed and we will know the outcome of the final challenge.” The same presenter even posted a photo on Instagram with the participants (Sandrina next to her) to reassure the audience.
Thank you so much Sandrina. Let’s hope you’re really okay.
