Qualcomm announced and released the Snapdragon 888 in early December, last month. This mobile platform, since then, is the most advanced in the catalog of the American semiconductor manufacturer, having advanced characteristics and technical specifications and a node size of only 5 nm, which promises unparalleled energy efficiency and performance.
The iQOO 7 is Vivo’s next high-performance smartphone. Recall that iQOO is a sub-brand of the second-mentioned and is focused on offering high-performance mobiles for the gaming segment. The point is that this device has now appeared under a code name in the AnTuTu database, letting us know that sooner rather than later it will hit the market and with brutal power, which is backed by more than 750 thousand points that registered on the benchmark test platform.
The iQOO 7 is about to be launched with the Snapdragon 888 as the engine
As we have been saying, the iQOO 7 smartphones will soon be announced and officially launched. At the moment, there is no release date revealed by the company, but it is said that January will be the month in which we are receiving it, and the fact that this mobile has appeared in AnTuTu gives strength to this theory.
The device has been registered in the benchmark database under the code name V2049A. Since iQOO 7 is the only terminal that is expected by the brand, everything indicates that it is the same. This is also because it is the only one with Snapdragon 888 listed to be released soon, and said leaked terminal has this mobile platform.
We already know the exceptional performance that the new Qualcomm part is capable of offering. However, the 750 thousand points that the smartphone managed to score has caused excitement among the gaming community, as this figure goes hand in hand with optimizations for games that include an advanced cooling system and special and dedicated functions so that the gaming experience and use is one of the best in this device. In turn, the screen refresh rate will be high, another feature that cannot be lacking in a flagship gaming mobile this year, leaving us waiting for a base of at least 120 Hz.
The Mi 11, Xiaomi’s flagship that was presented a week ago and in its first sale sold about 350 thousand units in just 5 minutes, obtained a not inconsiderable mark of 710 thousand points in AnTuTu, which is about 40 thousand points less than the figure that highlights the iQOO 7 in the benchmark database. This difference in favor of the iQOO 7 could be due to the game optimizations that the Vivo terminal would have.
Breaking down the numbers, the iQOO 7 scored 200,616 in the CPU test; 340,539 in the GPU (graphics processor) test; 114,445 in the memory test and 97,335 in the UX test. With this, the phone has managed to secure an exact score of 752,935 AnTuTu benchmarks. It is worth noting that the score could be even higher once the smartphone is launched since it would have better optimizations due to the fact that it would be a final version.
Possible characteristics and technical specifications of the iQOO 7
The main features and specifications of this smartphone have not been revealed yet. However, since the aforementioned Vivo V2049 appeared on China’s 3C list, this is believed to correspond to the iQOO 7. This device is listed to arrive with up to 12GB RAM, 256GB internal storage space.
It would also have a triple rear camera that is expected to arrive with a 64-megapixel resolution main sensor. In addition, the screen would be AMOLED technology and would offer a FullHD + resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. This would be 6.56 inches, but we will know that data for sure later.
