WhatsApp is the messaging app with the most users, with two billion accounts in the world.
Meta’s platform already delivers one hundred billion messages a day.
There are only 25 countries in the world where WhatsApp is not the most used messaging app.
In many companies, the way teams communicate has changed thanks to the current technological tools that exist on the market. With this, the WhatsApp instant messaging platform could surprise you with its next function, which consists of sharing a screen with other users.
The data recorded by Meta’s instant messaging platform continues to surprise everyone because it has crossed borders, to the point of becoming a communication tool for companies.
In this sense, worldwide, more than 50 million companies use WhatsApp Business, according to 2020 data published by the Wall Street Journal.
Likewise, according to the Study on the Habits of Internet Users in Mexico 2019, carried out by the MX Internet Association, there are 82.7 million Internet users in Mexico, of which 99 percent use Facebook and 93 percent WhatsApp.
The use of this application is so relevant that according to official information from WhatsApp, only in Mexico 57 percent of SMEs already use Business and even say they have increased their sales.
As part of its recent updates, the Meta platform presented that WhatsApp video calls will now have a new function to share your cell phone screen with the rest of the participants, as is the case with other social networks such as Zoom or Google Meet.
According to your information, some users are testing it on Android and it is unknown when its official launch will be, but there is already information on how you can take advantage of it.
They also explain that this new option will appear as one more button on the bottom panel when making a call or video call.
So it will be located next to the Activate the camera function with the icon of a phone next to an arrow.
“When it is decided to share your screen, everything displayed on the screen will be recorded and shared with the recipient,” WABetaInfo stated on its website.
The site also warns that it is possible that this tool “does not work in large group calls” and that it will surely be necessary for the recipient to also have the application updated to its latest version.
The platform has been releasing various innovations in its interfaces, such as reorganization of the navigation bar, changing the order in which the tabs appear, which is now as follows: Chats, Calls, Communities, and Status.
Also now users will be able to keep the conversations they choose private, since they will have an explosive password.
With this, the Meta platform continues to show that it is increasingly improving the service and experience it provides to its more than two million registered users around the world, joining other social networks that have also generated changes.
One of these is Facebook, which showed all the work it has done in its Reels formats with which it seeks for content creators and companies to monetize.
And this is how the digital world and all the networks we use have become a relevant medium in the life we live today.
