Sales boost for the Mercedes E-Class Coupé and E-Class Cabriolet with a special edition. The two models, which will be replaced in just over a year by the new CLE-Class, debut the special edition “Night Edition”, with an important plus of sportiness.
The range of Mercedes E-Class CoupeY E-Class Convertiblehas its days numbered, like the Class C Coupé and Class C Cabrio, which will all be merged into a couple of models and a new range that receives the name of CLE class. The star brand has already shown prototypes of the convertible variant, a future model that is expected to be one of the great novelties of the German brand in 2023, so the two E-segment sports cars are already facing their final stretch in the market.
This is the key why Mercedes has launched a special edition on the two models, the «Night Edition», putting itself up for sale immediately. A package of the sports finish “AMG Line” that offers extra sportinesswearing gloss black body details, such as the diamond grille, the exhaust pipe trims, the alloy wheel flanges, the edge of the glazed surface and the unprecedented rear spoiler located on the edge of the lid of the trunk.

this special edition will also be offered in the saloon and in the E-Class Estate, two models that will add gloss black boot lid trim, arriving at dealerships in July. Inside, the atmosphere will be just as sporty. In the case of the E-Class Coupé something more thanks to an inner roof lining in blackwhile the seats are upholstered in ‘ARTICO’ man-made leather with contrast stitching, in an attractive gray to match the dashboard.
Of course, Mercedes offers other much more suggestive materials, such as combinations of leather and microfiber, as well as leather and nappa. Door sills feature illuminated aluminum slats with brand namewhile the special edition badge can be found on the dashboard, embroidered on the floor mats or on the rear spoiler.
The “AMG Night” will have extensive standard equipment, adding among other details heated front seats. The German brand has already announced that this special edition can be associate all the mechanical versions of the two models, although it specifies that it will not be available with the top-of-the-range variant of the “AMG 53 4MATIC”. Prices will be communicated in the coming weeks, as marketing has started in Germany, and will gradually spread to other European countries.
