This morning we have brought you the first real images of the Oppo Find X2, the next flagship that will launch this brand and that will arrive with the front camera in a hole on the screen. The truth is that at least frontally, we expected something more revolutionary from Oppo, seeing how it was the Oppo Find X that went through our hands almost two years ago. The point is that although the leaks and rumors of this phone were gaining strength during the last two weeks, we did not know when it would be officially presented. Until now.

Oppo has finally announced the date of presentation of Oppo Find X2 and we can tell you that it will be very soon. The truth is that given that there are just over two weeks left before the start of the Mobile World Congress 2020, Oppo was very likely to choose these dates for its announcement. Now we know the exact day and it will be just before the start of this international fair.

The Oppo Find X2 will be presented on February 22

Today Oppo has begun to distribute the invitation to its event, confirming its place and date of presentation. It will take place on February 22, Saturday, in Barcelona. This date is strategically placed to capture the most media attention before the start of the MWC itself since the fair does not start until Monday 24 and on the 23rd we already have other presentations scheduled. Therefore, Oppo seems to be the one that will kick off the madness of presentations that will take place during this Mobile World Congress.

The Oppo Find X2 will be presented just before MWC 2020

We remind you that this Oppo Find X2 will arrive with a curved screen, with a hole in it for the front camera and with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In addition, the panel will be in QuadHD + resolution and super AMOLED technology, according to the leaks. There are also details about its main camera, which would be Sony’s new 48-megapixel sensor, designed to increase the physical size of the pixels without increasing the resolution, which should offer notable improvements over the current 48-megapixel cameras.

Unlike other brands, Oppo has had no qualms about announcing the terminal to be presented in the invitation itself, so we do not expect any more announcements. Anyway, as always, in Ferret Weasels you will have all the information about it at the moment in which this Oppo Find X2 is presented.
