The OLED Switch is already on public display in Japan

Although unfortunately in Mexico we will have to wait longer for the launch of the new Nintendo Switch OLED, many other territories will be receiving it on October 8. Among them is evidently Japan, who have already started displaying this console publicly, thus giving us our first “real” look at it.

Alex Aniel, business manager for Limited Run Games on Japan, had a chance to capture a few pictures of the console running Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, noting how “vibrant” the new 7-inch OLED screen looks. Obviously the smaller bezel is an improvement too.

The new dock that comes with the model OLED includes a ticket LAN and you will be able to receive your own signature updates. In fact, the most recent update 13.0.0 of the Switch you have already enabled this option within the system settings.

A few days ago, the company announced that they would also be reducing the price of the original model of the Switch in certain territories around the world. Curiously, USA it will not be one of them.
