Despite the poor state of the PC hardware market due to the COVID-19 crisis and current excess mining, NVIDIA successfully launched its latest generation of GPUs last year, led by RTX. 3070, RTX 3080 and the RTX 3090.
However, the company has not wanted to rest on its laurels, and has long been working on its next generation of graphics cards, which will arrive under the Ada Lovelace architecture in the coming years. Specifically, thanks to a Twitter user we have been able to find out when NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 might be available, as well as the improvement that we will find in them.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 will represent the same generational leap that there was from Maxwell to Pascal
According to Ulysses, known to have previously carried out other leaks, las NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 will represent a very important generational leap. Specifically, the user affirms that we will find the same leap that we could see between the Maxwell and Pascal architecture.
Nvidia’s New RTX Algorithm Enables One Million Dynamic Lights In Video Games
For those who do not know what architectures we are talking about, we refer to the 900 series and the 1000 series respectively, which was a huge generational leap in PC hardware, since even today the graphics cards of this series are capable of move with ease the most modern titles.
After its publication, a user asked if the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 would hit the market in Q4 2022, to which Ulysses replied no, with December 2022 or the first quarter of 2023 being the most likely date of its arrival on the market.
So there is still a long way to go before we can enjoy the Ada Lovelace architecture, but there is no doubt that, given the current landscape of the PC hardware market, some users will “celebrate” waiting to take a really important generational leap.
