The Nothing Phone (1) will have a mid-range processor as confirmed by its creator

Carl Pei, founder of Nothing, assured that his new model, the Nothing Phone (1), will have a mid-range processor “that will be better than a high-end one”. Find out everything here!

Many people eagerly await the launch of the new Smartphones Nothing Phone (1). We recently had the opportunity to see the first official images of this transparent model, and although aesthetically it draws a lot of attention, a recent announcement dulls the potential of the mobile a bit.

The person in charge of announcing the “bad” news was none other than carl pei, founder of Nothing and co-founder of OnePlus. Pei shared on his Twitter account an image where it reveals to us what the next processor of the device will be, something that left many fans a little discouraged.

In the image as a meme we see a man willing to discuss that the “778G+ is the most balanced option” for this Smartphone. The truth is the Nothing Phone (1) will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor, that is, a mid-range chip. Thanks to this processor, the new mobile Nothing will have wireless charging and reverse chargingin addition to presenting the classic eight cores of the Snapdragon 778G.

Unfortunately, this means that this device hardly has the performance that a Smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, to name a high-end processor. When explaining the reason for this choice, Carl Pei assured that this chip offers a better combination of price, performance and power consumption.

Nothing Phone (1)

Beyond its color and its processor, we have no more information about what its other components will be like. Some leaks ensure that it would have a 6.55-inch 120Hz display, a 4,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and 8GB of RAMalthough this is still a rumor, so they should not take it as fact.
