The new version of Samsung’s browser includes a new search widget, anti-tracking technology and new options in the menu to delete browsing data.
There is much more life in addition to the Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers, and for example the Samsung Internet browser just reached its version 15 offering new features not about design, but about security and privacy, and that you are going to love.
If you have a Samsung phone, surely you are also using the Samsung Internet browser that is installed by default, a browser with many features. Now Samsung Internet 15 is out of beta version and it is starting to be deployed in a stable version including all these security and privacy improvements, advance from AndroidPolice.
When it comes to privacy and security, they have incorporated new functions to help protect users. Now the app comes with anti tracking technology capable of protecting us from any trace that we leave in our navigations and then the menu “delete navigation data” has been expanded with specific examples of what each option deletes.
We also have a change in secret mode operation (incognito mode), and where once the secret browsing is activated, it will remain as default until we change it manually. In this way, instead of returning to its normal state every time we open the application, it will remember how it was configured the last time.
On the other hand, in addition to privacy and security, now the browser allows us access a new search widget from the home screen. The good thing about this widget is that it is customizable, specifically resizable, and that it looks a lot like Google’s own search bar, with a shortcut for voice actions.
On the other hand, this new version of the Samsung browser is capable of cache, temporarily, the web pages that you have recently visited, with which we could start to navigate much faster between different web pages.
