The new Skoda Enyaq Coupé iV is getting closer and closer. The firm of Mladá Boleslav has presented a preview of the pre-production prototypes of the brand’s second electric SUV, and the first with the sportier coupe format. A model that will debut on the market in 2022, with three mechanical versions.
The new Skoda Enyaq Coupé iV It is one of the most anticipated electric models, the second of the Czech brand, which will hit the market in 2022, and the first with the sportier design given by the coupe-shaped silhouette. A new, more attractive variant that will also concentrate a significant bulk of sales.
For now, the brand has shown only properly camouflaged pre-production prototypes, although the design of the production model will reproduce the ahead of the Vision iV concept, and shared with the Enyaq, only with the difference of the lateral form, with a more pronounced drop of the tailgate. Even the measurements have also been altered, as you can see below, the coupe is somewhat larger.

The new Enyaq Coupé iV wears an important mount, with 19 to 21-inch diameter alloy wheels, also standing out for the headlights, equipped with LED technology as standard, and Full-LED Matrix as an option. Its 24 diodes are controlled independently and automatically based on oncoming traffic. The taillights are also LED, although optional.
The interior has not been advanced by Skoda, although the entire dashboard will present the same design as the Enyaq, with a 5.3-inch digital display for «Digital Cockpit» instrument cluster and one more in the center console, touch and 13-inch for the infotainment and navigation system. Optionally, the new electric can have a advanced head-up display with augmented reality function. In addition, LED ambient light in different colors expands from the door handles to the front and rear feet.
Skoda will offer different designs and customization options for the interior, with a more modern approach, as also demonstrated by its commitment to sustainable mobility with natural virgin wool for the seats and with recycled polyester made from PET plastic bottles, or leathers treated without the use of chemical materials.
The new Enyaq Coupé iV will feature three power levels and two battery capacities. Based on the MEB modular platform, the most basic net capacity of the lithium-ion battery is 58 kWh and is associated with the option of a single rear electric motor that develops 132 kW, 180 hp. The 77 kWh battery will be offered with the two most powerful options, with a rear motor of 150 kW -equivalent to 204 hp- and in a variant of this one with a second electric motor on the front axle and that adds a performance of 195 kW, 265 hp, with all-wheel drive.

The offer It will be completed with a sporty RS version that will have two electric motors, all-wheel drive and a maximum power of 306 hp that will arrive in 2022. The propulsion system is rechargeable with a power of up to 125 kW, with an on-board charger with alternating current with 11 kW of power and that requires six to eight hours for a full charge.
