The new Honda CR-V is one of the most anticipated models. The Japanese firm has already been seen with prototypes of the new model that it will uncover in a few months, going on sale in 2023. But a leak has discovered the design of the new model, whose attractive aesthetics will be shared both in China and in Europe and in everyone.
The new generation of Honda CR-V It is one of the most anticipated, a key model that represents the Japanese firm in the D segment and that will hit European roads from the next one. The Japanese have been missing for a long time, without showing the prototypes of the new SUV for almost a yeara long period in which we have advanced its design and we have also seen much of its details in a patent registry leak.
And one filtration more has discovered the sixth generation of such an important model. It could not be otherwise, the revelation has taken place in China, showing a full rear view and a three-quarter front view. A clear glimpse of a radical change in styling on the 2023 Honda CR-V, with a much more upright front end and also a more horizontal one as evidenced by the hood. The grill occupies a large space in the front, accompanied by some very fine Full LED headlights that have a chrome profile that serves as a union between them.
Uncovered the new Honda CR-V 2023
The new Honda CR-V can boast a design that is as elegant as it is sporty at the same time, while retaining the characteristic rear lights that extend along the flanks of the rear window, and also horizontally occupying part of the gate. The result is a light signature with the well-known “L” shape and with more modern details, along with a bumper that integrates the exhaust outlets. In short, a much cleaner and more sober set.
For now we have not had the opportunity to see its interior, but a minimalism like that of the new Honda models is expected, with a digital instrument panel housed in the bottom of the usual visor, and a larger touch screen and resolution at the top of the center console. The new model will also offer ample interior space, with up to seven seater and three rows of seats and advanced driving assistants “Honda Sensing”.
The new CR-V will debut the plug-in hybrid technology «e:HEV», as we have seen in the spy photos, with two covers on the rear wings, one for the battery charging port and another for refueling. For now, Honda is keeping absolute secrecy about this PHEV technology, but from which an adaptation of the scheme is expected on board the new Civic e:HEV. The compact will be sold in Europe in the coming months and will only do so as a hybrid. In the case of the SUV, it is expected that hybrid versions are available with both front and all-wheel drive.
